Style Guides and Citing

Although there is no standard citation style for language and literature, MLA (Modern Language Association) Style is often used and is commonly required in undergraduate English courses here at Western. The D.B. Weldon Library has developed an online guide to help answer students' frequently asked questions about citing sources in MLA Style. Students who require more in depth assistance with citing their sources are advised to consult the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (7th ed.) directly.
