Yes, we have fiction books in the library!

Western Libraries provides support for language and literature programs. That means that we have lots of fiction as part of the library collection.

If you have a specific author or title in mind, you can use the Library Catalogue to see if we have what you want.

If you don't know of a specific author and want to browse, you will find works of fiction in English shelved on the fifth (5th) floor of Weldon Library.

Call numbers for books by British authors start withPR  (for example:Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen has the call number PR4030.P8F70) .  Call numbers for books by American authors start with PS (for example: A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin has the call number PS3563.A7239S66).

Canadian literature in Weldon is primarily located at the call number PR9299.1. (for example: The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood has the call number PR9299.1.A88H35 1986).

@rest Collection

On the wall beside the Print/Copy Centre, you will find the Weldon Library @Rest Collection.  These are donated books of all sorts that you can feel free to take away and read at your leisure.
