Citing Business Sources

The most commonly used citation styles for business are APA and Chicago. See the pages in the side menu for more detail on each.

Within the academic community, it is very important to cite and reference your sources in reports, papers and essays. Western University takes plagiarism and citing sources very seriously. Plagiarizing or failing to cite is considered an academic offence (see Western University's University Secretariat webpage "Rights and Responsibilities" and review the PDF documents under Scholastic Discipline.

Citation tools can assist with referencing and creating bibliographies, and are free for the Western community. For more information on these online tools and how to create accounts, please visit Western Libraries Citation Management Software webpage.
