Signing into Business Resources

PitchBook offers in-depth information on private and public companies, investors, deals, M&A, funds, debt and lenders, advisors, and professionals. Western students, staff, and faculty must make an account using their Western email address. Note that PitchBook requires users to reset their accounts annually.

Follow these direction to either create/reactivate an account or to reset your password:

• Go to PitchBook
  • If you are off-campus, you will be prompted to sign in with your Western ID and password before accessing the website
• Please ensure that you are accessing PitchBook through the library's website. Do not type in the URL or Google it.

• Click the Create an Account link whether you are creating a new account, resetting a password, or reactivating your account.

• Enter your @uwo.ca email.

• An email with an activation link will be sent to your @uwo.ca email.
  • If you do not see the email, try checking to see if it has been redirected to your spam trap.

If you are still unable to access your PitchBook account:

• Clear your cahce/cookies on your browser.
• Try another browser.
