To borrow books from the library, you will need an alumni card from Western Alumni Services. Once you have your card, you can contact the library to create your alumni account.
As an alumni library user, you are able to borrow items listed in our shared library catalogue, Omni. For details on how to request and pick up items, please see Alumni Library Services.
Due to licensing agreements, Western Libraries cannot provide alumni with off-campus access to most electronic databases and resources available to currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff.
Off-Campus Research for Alumni lists the databases that alumni do have remote access to.
Many more of our databases and electronic resources are available to alumni using the guest computers located at any Western Libraries location.
