Places to Search for Free Articles

Use Omni, the Library Search tool, to find articles on your topic and limit your results to Open Access:

Search using Google Scholar and download Unpaywall browser extension. Click on the article you're interested in and Unpaywall will check to see if there is an openly available version. If so, it will provide the link for full access.

Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
Open access journals use a funding model that does not charge readers or their institutions for access. The journal must exercise peer-review or editorial quality control to be included in DOAJ.

Collects, disseminates, archives, and preserves a variety of materials created or sponsored by the Western University community.
OpenDOAR
Global Directory of Open Access Repositories that provide free open access to academic outputs and resources.

JSTOR
Contains peer-reviewed articles from a variety of sources, including business and economics. Researchers can sign up for a registered individual account which enables them to access and read participating publisher articles online for free.

SSRN (Social Science Research Network)
Provides research papers from across the social sciences, including business.
Policy Commons
Collects and disseminates summaries and full texts, videos, reports, briefs, and multimedia material of think tank, university, government, and foundation-funded policy research.
CORE
Collection of open access research papers from institutional and subject repositories, and open access and hybrid journals.
AgEcon Search
Research in applied economics and agriculture.
