When searching for magazines in library catalogues and databases, you can often recognize them by specific terms, such as magazine, digest, illustrated, popular, and weekly. Here are a few examples: Harper’s Magazine, Reader’s Digest, Sports Illustrated, Popular Mechanics, and Entertainment Weekly.
Western Libraries provides access to more than 5000 magazine titles as original prints, on microfilm, or online. In Western’s Library Catalogue (Omni), you can filter your searches by “Magazine Article” under “Resource Type” for individual magazine articles.
