The Library Catalogue (OMNI) searches the scholarly journals that Western Libraries subsribes to or owns. This is a good starting point, but for more focused searches you may need to turn to specialized library databases. OMNI – Academic Search Tool offers an overview of how to use the library catalogue.
To find scholarly journal articles for your research paper, turn to library databases. Most of the articles in these databases have been peer-reviewed, which means they have gone through a formal vetting process with anonymous reviewers.
Interlibrary Loan requests are placed in Omni. To place a request, select "Get It From Another Library" from an item record in the search results or use the blank request form. For more information, see How do I use Interlibrary Loans?
